# Parent Setup Checklist

Use this before class day.

## Required

- Working laptop
- Laptop charger
- Student knows the laptop password
- Student can open a browser
- Student can switch tabs
- Student can copy and paste
- Student can download and find a file
- Parent-approved AI access is working
- Student can log into ChatGPT or approved AI tool without help
- Student has two possible app interests

## Recommended

- ChatGPT Plus or equivalent higher-limit AI access

## Optional

- GitHub, only if Bud confirms this cohort requires it

## Parent note

If the laptop asks for admin permissions during app install, browser setup, screen recording, or accessibility prompts, either solve that before class or have the password ready.
